Paintings and Murals

Within my profession as a visual artist I’m very much stimulated by designing and executing site-specific murals. Every location has its own challenges, and every client their own wishes. It’s my job to adjust the existing unique properties and qualities of each location to the experience of the viewers. For the execution I work with the most suitable materials, specifically chosen for each surface.

Before arriving at a suitable design I take notice of the ideas of the initiators. I immerse myself into the history of the location, its function and the architecture. I want the painting to become an extension of all of these aspects, thereby accentuating the identity of the location. By bringing this to the front it strengthens the bond between the object and those involved.

Apart from my own ideas I’m always open to suggestions and useful information. Every project is stuffed with new lessons, and together we can achieve even more!
